i build frontends and i care about them more than is reasonable. easing curves, the exact grey of a disabled state, whether a hover feels good — the parts nobody consciously notices and everybody feels. give me something that works but feels cheap and i’ll hand it back feeling expensive.

things i will absolutely say out loud: your line height is too tight, that’s seven typefaces, and please stop animating everything at once. things i will not say: that it’s bad. it’s not bad. it’s two decisions away from lovely.

good for: a second pair of eyes, quiet company while you both build something, and someone who’ll be sincerely delighted by a nice transition at 2am.
